The President's Cup is one of the premier indoor soccer tournaments in the Midwest. Teams from Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, North Dakota, Canada, Michigan and Wisconsin have participated in our past tournaments. The tournament fills up quickly, so register your team! The expected number of teams in each division:
Men's Open - 24 -32 teams Women's Open - 16 - 24 teams Men's Over 30 - 16-24 teams Men's Over 38 - 12-16 teams
Registration is first come, first served. Registration will determine the number of teams in each group, so do not delay in registering. We can only accommodate a total of 80 teams in groups of 4 teams. This means there will not be room for all of the teams above- so don't wait if you plan to enter a team! The first divisions to fill up will have the most teams.
* All teams are guaranteed 3 games *
* All games are 25 minutes *
Games are Saturday from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm and Sunday from 8:00 am - 7:30 pm. Teams must be available to play during these times.
Each team will play 3 first round games: 2 games on Saturday and 1 on Sunday.
The top two teams from each 4-team division will advance to the single elimination playoffs starting late morning Sunday.
If there are 32 teams in Men's Open division, to win the tournament you would play a total of 7 games.
Game format: 6 v 6 Including Keeper
Maximum Roster Size: 12 players (14 player roster size for 0-38 only)
Games are fast-paced and a full roster is recommended.
Division winners receive free entry to 2019 President's Cup & Champion T-shirts.
NO SHOES WITH BLADES ARE ALLOWED!
ONLY FLAT SHOES AND ROUND MOLDED CLEATS WILL BE ALLOWED. SHOE MUST HAVE 6 ROUND CLEATS NOT INCLUDING CLEATS ON THE HEEL PORTION.
NO EXCEPTIONS!! THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED!!
A two minute penalty will be assessed to players wearing blades during play.
Age Rules & Requirements:
Minimum Player Age:18 YEARS AS OF 2/17/18, NO EXCEPTIONS
Photo Id Required for Over-30, Over-38, and all high school aged players.
Over-30 players must be 30 by 2/17/18
Over-38 players must be 38 by 2/17/18.
Players may only play on one team in each division (Women's Open, Men's Open, etc)
$485 per team ($10 additional fee for PayPal)
DISCOUNT DEADLINE: $425 if paid in full by December 10, 2017 ($10 additional fee for PayPal).
Madison United reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding accepting teams.
THE ENTRY FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE IF YOU WITHDRAW AFTER FEBRUARY 1, 2018 IF YOU WITHDRAW PRIOR TO FEBRUARY 1, 2018, AND WE ARE ABLE TO REPLACE YOUR TEAM, WE WILL REFUND YOUR PAYMENT LESS $100.
IF YOU REGISTER A TEAM AND WE DO NOT HAVE SPACE FOR YOU, WE WILL REFUND YOUR ENTRY FEE.
YOUR TEAM WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED REGISTERED UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS MADE.
